Live for Today

As our Florida trip has ended plenty has been happening here in La Crosse. This past week Kim created her own ice cream flavor at The Pearl, an ice cream shop located downtown La Crosse. Kim also graduated from UW-La Crosse this past weekend during an unforgettable ceremony. Kim's Crew threw her a graduation party which included entertainment by Chancellor Joe Gow featuring a new dance called the "wobble".

Also, Kim has started Chemo this week in hopes to shrink the tumor to keep her as comfortable as possible.

As we all reflect upon the trip we can all agree that our Hogwarts Adventure has been an incredible experience that we will never forget. Kim has taught us to live each day to the fullest and to invest our time in people and relationships. She's taught us to trust the Lord's perfect plan and to believe in miracles. We love you so much Kim and we are incredibly thankful for you!

Love,
Kim's Crew

Please Pray for Kim

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

All Abooooooard the Hogwarts Express!

Right away we headed to Ollivander's to get Kim her wand! It was a pretty incredible experience and the wand that chose her was made of birch and a Phoenix feather. This represents healing in the Harry Potter world!

Then, it was off to Hogwarts! We walked through Dumbledore's office and saw many other attractions inside before getting on a crowd favorite ride that simulated flying on a broomstick. Kim's favorite part was flying on the quidditch field with Harry and Ron.

After Hogwarts, we ate lunch at Three Broomsticks! Here, many people tried the famous Butterbeer and had wizard-like meals including Shepard's Pie and Turkey Legs.

Where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry

The Sorting Hat

Kim would definitely be in Gryffindor. Her bravery through all of this has been extremely inspiring to each and every one of us. We love you Kim!
